HOW TO JOIN
Tau Beta Pi initiates are invited each semester based on GPA and major requirements. A few weeks into the semester, eligible students will receive an email invitation from the MS Alpha officer team with instructions on joining. Eligible initiates must collect signatures from current Tau Beta Pi members and faculty and polish their own personal Tau Beta Pi bent.
ENGINEERING HONORS SOCIETY
Tau Beta Pi is an honors society for engineers founded at Lehigh University in 1885. Today there are chapters at 248 colleges and universities with over 575,000 members.
HERE AT MSU
Chapter MS Alpha at MSU was first established in 1928. Our chapter is one of the few chapters in Tau Beta Pi that is represented by a concrete bent on campus.
